The Office of the Privacy Commissioner has recently completed a Privacy Impact Assessment which has found that Microsoft offered industry-leading data security, better than the Privacy Commissioner can deliver for itself. As a result, the Commissionhas inked a contract to store all applications and data on Microsoft Azure and Office 365 services.

Several cloud vendors have developed standard answer sets for some of the questions in the Cloud Risk Assessment Tool (Excel 77KB). Contact the vendor directly to obtain the answer set. Agencies are responsible for evaluating the answers and determining whether they are relevant.
